Are you interested in a career in Construction and Building Trades?

The Center of Innovation, in partnership with Illinois Works, offers a FREE Pre-apprenticeship program that can prepare you to successfully transition to a Department of Labor-registered apprenticeship in the trades!

Who should apply? Individuals within a 50-mile radius of Chicago, IL, are welcome, with an emphasis on women, people of color, and veterans.

Eligibility Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age
  • High School Diploma/GED/HiSET
  • Illinois Resident

Program offers:

  • Classroom Instruction
  • Wrap-Around Services
  • Student Support Services
  • Stipends
  • Industry Recognized Certifications (NCCER, OSHA, First Aid/CPR)
